Councillor

Katie Treadwell

I moved to Radford Semele with my husband in February 2024 and quickly fell in love with its strong community spirit and rich local history, so reminiscent of my Lincolnshire village roots. I joined the Parish Council in September 2026 and am keen to learn, contribute, and help keep the village thriving for everyone.

I work at the West Midlands Combined Authority, supporting the region’s seven councils on planning and delivering the energy infrastructure needed for affordable, low‑carbon heating.

I’m passionate about nature and protecting the environment — for me, they’re at the heart of a healthy village community. Spare time is rare since my daughter arrived in 2025, but I squeeze in reading, debating, running, rambling and the occasional swim.
