Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. And if you’re over 50, or you’re Black, or you have a family history of the disease, then your risk is even higher.
If caught early enough then the prognosis for survival is high. so the earlier you find it, the more likely itcn be treated .
There is curently no national screening program for Prostate Cancer, howeve, if detected early enough, then the chances of survival increase rapidly.
The first step is to check your risk. Hence the Parish Council is supporting this event on 20th September, but you need to register for this on line first.
Register on line here. (This will take you to th Graham Fulford Charitble Trust page.
Places are limited but still available.
Previously these tests were undertaken free of charge with a voluntary donation, but due to the rising costs of the testing a charge £25 has to be made through the online registration portal.
Don’t get caught out too late, this can be a life saving check.
